CHRISTINE PETERS LAUNCHED BOOK FASHIONISTAS
TO CELEBRATE ALONG WITH RED DRESS INK


December 1, 2004, Los Angeles, CA -- The hip, trend-setting book FASHIONISTAS, by novelist Lynn Messina, is now in the hands of top producer Christine Peters (How To Loose A Guy In 10 Days), who will be turning the book into a hit movie with producers Lindsay Lohan and Dina Lohan at Paramount Pictures. The book FASHIONISTAS is published by Red Dress Ink.

To celebrate the launch, Christine Peters threw a hosted soiree fit for only the most fashionable Los Angelite inside the Fenix Restaurant at the renowned Argyle Hotel in Hollywood. The room was filled with celebrities included Natasha Henstridge, Paris Hilton, Lacy Chambert to some of today's true fashionistas Noni of Petra Zilla, Linda Loudermilk, fashion journalist Booth Moore and even top interior designer Dodd Mitchell.

On hand were also key players involved in the film, writers Jim Berg & Stan Zimmerman and top Paramount Executives Pamela Abdy & Wendy Japhet. To add to the fashion themed night NEXT models graced the room bedazzled in de Grisogono jewels, dressed by top stylist George Blodwell in designer wear including Petra Zilla & Kristoff heels with hair by Redken's Brian Bowman and makeup by Dave Loiterstein.

FASHIONISTAS hosted by de Grisogono fine jewels along with Redken & Red Dress Ink was a truly a hot ticket. The festivities began sharply at 8pm in which guests were treated to cocktails hosted by Stockholm Kristall Vodka infused with Pom Wonderful, Heinken beer and an array of Mediterranean inspired hors d'oeuvre. The goodie bags were a true fashionistas dream come true: a DOONEY & BURKE handbag filled with everything from Redken hair products OPI polish, Stila cosmetics, TRAPP candle, Christine Peters' How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days, Lindsay Lohan's Mean Girls and her new hit album, Joss Stones' CD, amongst other kitsch items and of course to top it all off one's own copy of FASHIONISTAS by Lynn Messina.

FASHIONISTAS, follows Vig, a young fashion designer wanna-be, at a internationally renown New York magazine. When Vig's plan to revenge her editor backfires, it causes her to be demoted to an assistant position. She finds solace in becoming an anonymous "It" designer, and sparking with one of the city's hottest bachelors.
