Paramount has designs on Lohan pic

Paramount and producer Christine Peters are drafting scribes Stan Zimmerman and James Berg to tailor "Fashionistas" as a starring vehicle for Lindsay Lohan.
The script is inspired by the Lynn Messina novel, which Peters bought last year out of her own pocket around the time she set up a deal at Paramount following the success of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," the romantic comedy she produced with Lynda Obst.
In "Fashionistas," Lohan will play an aspiring fashion designer who interns at a Gotham fashion magazine while working toward a degree at the Parson School of Design.
Her plan to get revenge on her editor backfires, and she is suddenly posing as a major designer at night while toiling as a lowly mag assistant during the day.
Lohan just starred in "Mean Girls."
Zimmerman and Berg's recent script work includes "A Very Brady Sequel" and "The Valley of the Dolls." CFP prexy Bradford W. Smith and development director Oliver Obst will shepherd the project along with Par exec Pam Abdy.
Along with starring, Lohan will be exec producer along with Dina Lohan.
